His wife Ada, his daughters Georgia, Manna and Traudel and his lover Lilly Reich seize the opportunities of the new era, but also experience the restrictions of old patterns. The golden 20s, the increasingly barbaric 30s and finally war.<\/p>\n<p>Based on private and unpublished archive footage, images and documents, Sabine Gisiger retells the story of the iconic architect Mies van der Rohe &#8211; from a female perspective.
