In 2027, we will celebrate 100 years of the Weissenhof Estate. To mark this anniversary, the Weissenhof.Forum, an IBA’27 project by the state capital Stuttgart, will create a new arrival point for the Weissenhof Estate. We are working on a new image and preparing a varied anniversary program in the run-up to the anniversary year.

The Weissenhof.Forum is being built by the state capital Stuttgart at the entrance to the world-famous Weissenhof Estate and is scheduled for completion in 2027. In future, it will serve as a central information and starting point for visitors. It will combine exhibition spaces, a workshop room for children, a shop, catering facilities, and event and work areas, thus relieving the pressure on the Weissenhof Museum in the Le Corbusier House, which has been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status.

The planning and implementation of the Weissenhof.Forum is being carried out by the bidding consortium Zech Hochbau AG / Barkow Leibinger Gesellschaft von Architekten mbH, which won the Europe-wide tender with a design of high architectural quality and a forward-looking energy concept.

Construction work began at Am Weissenhof 1/1 with the groundbreaking ceremony on July 23, 2025—the 98th anniversary of the Weissenhof Estate.

The Weissenhof Estate is an icon of modernism and was already internationally renowned in 1927.
