Anniversary guided tour
‘Around the world with Le Corbusier – 10 years as a UNESCO World Heritage Site’

Ten years ago, UNESCO inscribed 17 representative structures and building complexes by Le Corbusier, spread across several continents, on the World Heritage List. Starting from the semi-detached house in Stuttgart’s Weissenhofsiedlung, this guided tour takes the anniversary as an opportunity to explore the significance of the architect and his global body of work. Together, we will embark on a journey to the other World Heritage sites – from Stuttgart across Europe to India, Japan and Argentina – and discover what connects them and why they are regarded as an “outstanding contribution to modernism”.

Afterwards, we invite you to join us for a glass of KESSLER sparkling wine and French pastries on the building’s terrace, where we will raise a toast together to 10 years as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Anja Krämer, Deputy Director of the Weissenhof Museum in the Le Corbusier House
